Developing and growing the Supply Chain in Morocco
Morocco’s aerospace industry has developed opportunistically over the past four decades, now numbering more than 140 companies conducting business from the Kingdom. While elements of all four supply chain tiers exist for the five market segments, key capabilities are missing, impeding the ability to attract new participants and limiting growth.
ALPHAVEST CAPITAL has identified and will invest in those capability gaps that represent the most critical needs and drive growth. Gaps range from total absence of the capability to inadequate investment in established enterprises.
Through our targeted investments in capability gaps, we aim for Morocco to be a “go-to” destination for all aerospace industry segments in the next 10 years.
Investing in Greenfield creation, Brownfield growth, and Restructuring
ALPHAVEST CAPITAL pursues a diversified investment approach, focusing on greenfield projects, growth capital, and corporate strategies such as carve-outs, spin-offs, and joint ventures. We seek blue chip co-investors who bring reputation, expertise, and networks to augment our contributions. As aerospace is a global community, this means that we will invest with international enterprises that have a path to revenue growth, job creation, and technology development in Morocco.
Investments will possess or obtain certifications and qualifications that are both required and present significant barriers to entry by competition. Though Morocco’s greatest natural resource is its working-age population, and its first competitive advantage is low labor cost, we will build companies that are sustainable in the long run based on best-value—quality, delivery, technology, improvement, etc.
With our co-investors, we will mitigate financial risk by obtaining long term contracts with premier customers, guaranteeing up front revenue commitments in exchange for meeting our promises.
